Rockefeller, vs Rudolph

I was just watching the men who built America on history channel, they were saying how Rockefeller found a use for gasoline,Ie, in the gas engine,, I told my wife I'd have shot him, because I like the diesel engine far better than a gas engine! Lol, what do you prefer, gas or diesel engines?

They all have their applications. I have a Diesel truck, but it is PIA when I go way up North in the winter and look for a plug in.

Diesel mainly but for a loader tractor that goes inside of buildings gas is better unless it's one of the new clean green diesels. Can't afford one of those! Jim

Remember, Rockefeller was having to throw the gasoline away. It was waste product. He essentially got lucky with the gasoline engine, he could start selling the stuff while he was slowly losing his kerosene lighting market to electrification. He never totally lost that lighting market until the 30's when there was a push by the feds for rural electrification

Absoulty NEVER a diesel, hate them and do not even use the pump iland at station with a diesel pump because of all the spilled fuel. Several years back I borrowed a neighbors tractor for a small job and when I went to work they said I was green, knew I wasn't feeling the best but never realized how bad I was from that diesel.
