Not sure I'd trust that little trailer hitch! but aside from that, looks pretty nice.

It just occurred to me that I have no idea what kind of winter weather you guys get out there.

From the looks of it - no road salt?

price is in line with what i been seein around south central Tx...not so sure about that never been wrecked statement tho...look at pic of right front fender close...door trim-F350 tag-bumper all have hickey's on em...could be minor but i'd look closer.
if truck runs and drives as good as it looks, buy it.

(quoted from post at 20:27:40 11/15/12) I am looking for a good, ole farm truck.

What do you guys think? Price?

You can't beat those old Fords that model. The 460 engine is a beast but also like gas, so be ready. As far as what is in the grille, I would say that with that brush guard on there it is hard to unlatch the hood so they use that stick? ha just a guess

Had a 94 f-250 4x4 ext cab with the 460 5 spd. Wish I had it back. It was a beast for what it was.
As others have stated, loves its gas.

One other comment... I've seen trains with a better turning radius. When I would be hauling a trailer, I did everything I could to avoid backing it up, just because of the turning radius.
That being said, probably a good thing I'm no where near Oklahoma or I might beat you to it...

Good Luck

Tony

For the miles and the apparent condition the price seems pretty good. I agree with what the others said about the turning radious on that long of wheel base - you'll never park it at Wal-Mart near the front doors.

I chuckle at his one line "4.33 axles for better gas mileage". Any big block and deep gears love gas period. It does look real clean. You would never find anything close to that condition in Michigan. Rust got most of them a long time ago.

Actually with EFI and decent gears that truck can pull close to 18 MPG but not with 4:33's. That truck with the 460 can really handel a load with 3;73 or so gearing and get OK mileage. I had a 77 F250,460, C6 and 3:55. Would get about 13 empty with a big 4BBL carb and 11 loaded pulling a trailer.
