Lymes disease: very prevalent on eastern L.I. N.Y. If a person is diagnosed with it and is treated early there is a very good chance of a full recovery.But all subsequent blood tests for it will indicate the person is still infected. My wife and several of my friends have had it and all have made a full recovery. My wife was on intraveinous A/B for several weeks to get rid of it.Early treatment is key.
It wasen't too long ago that many docters had never heard of Lyme diesease.
