this is about 200 yds off the back porch of our house, and yes these are exactly what they look like, a mom and 3 cubs just what i need!

nearest town is glenco, nm, umm, the towns got a post office, and a gravel pit, everything else is cattle, apples and hay oh and umm some of the locals??? hay is the smoking kind lol thats why the loud black helicopter spends extended time flapping around up there, driving the stock crazy , while us working stiffs are trying to sleep, as to the cats, these things are not welcome, they just killed 3 different ones last year a big tom and 2 females, here are their replacements i guess

As long as they're not hurting your stock, why worry? At least they'll kill any coyotes they come across, and eat feral pigs every chance they get. Sometimes, it's best to let nature look after their own.

ericlb,

Geez, that would scare the heck out of me. Could never let the kids go outside again. And if you are seeing 3...how many others must there be roaming around?

Proud of you! Don't have to be a treehugger to show common sense....

lol cougars usually wont bother humans unless their sick, wounded or with cubs, lol like this one, as long as these stick to wild game and lay low we wont press too hard, 1 cat kill of livestock though and there gone, out here, these retain 'shoot on sight" status, just like coyotes
