Hi Just wondering if this is the same set up as A 966. Had a customers in the shop, lost brakes steering and pto. found out it had stripped the splines that take the drive to the pto and hyd pump drive off the back of the clutch cover. When I fixed it and told the guy what happened, he said some times it was slow to work and once in a while it had made a funny noise. The noise was the splines stripping as they slipped. I wonder if yours is still dragging the drive a bit and thats why it tries a bit, then slips with load when the pressure comes up a bit and it don't work. It could also be pulling air at a filter or pipe fitting too from comments Ive read round here i guess. not too sure on this does it have 2 pumps one feeding the other and the other pumps weak like happens with the deeres and its not priming the other properly. Im kinda in the dark on this part right now my books out on loan so i can't go look for you to find out. Regards Robert |
