Ben says hello to tractor talk

A while ago I posted a story about my uncle who was in assisted living, asking me to bring farm magazines to his friend Ben,who was also in the same place. Frank ,a fellow tractor talker saw my post and sent a stack of red power magazines for me to take to Ben. My uncle passed away, and my aunt broke her hip,so she has not been in the assisted living ,but she is back there now, Today my wife and I went to see her,and I took Ben some Lancaster farm newspapers, I sat with him and talked about his farmall super H and about his dairy farm, Then I told him that the last time I saw him I took his picture and put it on the tractor site,. Now I have to tell you Ben is a sharp as a tack,he is in the home because his wife is a invalid and very sick, but he is doing pretty good , He said to say thanks for the magazines, and to tell the guy that sent them that he read them all and passed them around. The story even gets better ,believe it or not. The fellow that works at the place and drives some of the senoirs around in a bus was talking to Ben and said his dad just moved in with him. He used to live in the country but was getting on in age so he sold everthing and moved in with his son, Ben said take a few magazines home to him, The busdriver came back and said Ben,you made a lot of work for me! My dad saw an ad for an IH Cub for sale, and made me take him to buy it, He said ,but thank you Ben,he was depressed, but that little tractor has made a new man of him,he is working on it all the time fixing it up,and he drove it around the back yard yesterday!
Heres a picture of ben today,he says hello to all you fine people on yesterdays tractors!!
