Wondering about using it in boat motor, lawn mower, weed whip, and Farmall 450. The tractor is in a heated garage. I already have the Stabil in the stuff. Good Luck Kenny |

| Only so much per year and it"s the priorities. SUV for the Mrs. B&D and the horse stuff for the daughter this year. The kitchen and water heater/HVAC are the next on the list. Better to leave the GN in storage another year or two and have a happy wife/happy life. |

| Some products simply work good. Berrymans Chem-tool, Seafoam, Lucas tranny fixer in a can- whatever they call it. I don't know why they seem to work better than other products, but they do. ATF, as far as I'm concerned, is nothing short of a miracle product. It does so many things so very, very well that I panic a little when I run out.
I have faith in certain products performing. That doesn't mean Seafoam or Berrymans will degunk a carb completely or get you out of a rebuild, but if a "mechaninc in a can" product can fix something, Berrymans or Seafoam will do it.
I don't think much of Sta-bil. |

| If you figure that plain clear white mineral oil (baby oil), Coleman lantern gasoline and IPA ( isopropyl alcohol). Is going to do anything any good. The IPA which is all that fuel injection de-icer is. |

| Glen, I find it interesting that many on this board curse and despise ethanol and all it's so-called "ills" but think nothing of putting a product with another type of alcohol in their tanks thinking it is the best thing since sliced bread. A small amount of ATF in ethanol gas will do everything this mentioned product will do. And do it cheaper as well. Mike |

| | I never heard of the stuff till I starting surfing iboats.com. I read the MSDS and the why it was invented and it made sense. I mean if OMC needed a fuel/engine treatment for 2 cycle (primarily) engines and had this formula developed especially for that, must be something to it. Iboats has instructions on a process called "decarb" where they clean up engines clogged up with combustion by products. I use it in all my 2 cycle engines. Is it snake oil? I "dunno". Just haven't had a problem in any of them since using it. One day when I was only using it in my boat I thought I would see what would happen to an old weed eater and a chain saw that I thought I had put to rest. I resurrected both of them and wondered why I had bought replacements for them. I use Startron Starbright diesel for my farm diesel to keep the algae out and use Stabil red in my 4 cycle lawn mowers and especially in my backup power unit. Haven't had a problem with any of these engines and seldom if ever have the need to work on them. About all I do any more is change the oil....Great!!!!! My money, my stuff, my not wanting to work on what doesn't necessarily have to fail cause I sorta gave up mechanicing, my decision. Your money, your stuff, your decision. Mark |

| Fred Fandrei developed Sea Foam for the outboard motor & marine use in the 1930's. He worked for Sinclair Refineing Company at the time. His first test marking was at Lake Freeman in Indiana. Sea Foam was tested by Evinrude Outboard Motor Company & Martin Motor and endorsed by both companies. Sea Foam was trade marked in 1942.Fred sold the company to his son Philip in 1981 and he ran it until 1991 at which time it was sold to Auto Mark. The new oweners changed their name to Sea Foam Sales Company. |

| I used Stabil in the past and had gas go bad within a year. Now use Sea Foam in everything that doesn't get regular use. Realize not a good thing to do but treated the premium non- alcohol gas in the plastic Chevy and didn't drive it for four years. Did start and run it around the block a couple of times each year to keep things lubed but didn't mess with the fuel. Finally decided I'd better drain it and refill with fresh but it smelled OK and started immediately, so crossed my fingers and drove it a few hundred miles to Chicago and back. Refilled and treated again with Sea Foam. Really should go with Avgas in this vehicle but would be very difficult. Gold Stabil is rumored to be just as good as Sea Foam, but likely will not try unless the "tried and true" Sea Foam lets me down. |

| I parked the Grand National in the barn in 2005. Fuel tank full of 94 octane Sunoco. Every year or two we put a battery in it and drive it in and out the lane a few times. Started on the 2nd rotation last month with that 7 year old pump gas. Storage conditions can't even be that great. The tank is rusted on the seams and leaks when filled over 1/2 full. |
