If you want turnips plant very thin. I plant in a thin row. If you plant thick you will have plants but not much in the way of turnips below. [Reply]  [No Email]

Their is a down side to early planting you will have to keep them sprayed for lice... If I want till mid/late sept I may not have to spray'em but will not produce much of a turnip... They are the size of a marble now. I got a late start on them due to the drought we had this year. Last year they were the size of a softball by the 1st of November. [Reply]  [No Email]
