We just finished a week of leave (vacation for the military) at the farm. There is never any shortage of work when we get here. Mostly spent the week getting our winter wheat crop in. I know there are a lot of vets on this site and wanted to share some of what I do every day. I am especially grateful to all the vets that have come before me. The sacrifices you all have made have made it better for those of us currently serving.will post some more pictures later Paul Licata Major, Logistics Corps US Army |

| Paul, Mark thank you for serving.
Yea I very well remember going on (vacation) leave and haying, milking, doing field work. Even after dad quit farming his healt was so bad I came home and repaired the barn, rewired the house, fixed all the stuff dad couldn't do anymore.

| | Thank you for your service sir. Just as I clicked on this post, Keith Urban's song "Would I" came on the radio, and since I have seen 'Act of Valor' more than once, it gets to me every time. Mark SPC US Army Self Propelled Field Artillery Systems Mechanic |

| It is hard to believe the Military Equipment today. I served in the Army 63-66. When we got the new Reo's to replace the GMC duce and halfs we thought that was a real truck. We lost a lot of men in Vietnam in those old trucks. |

| Thank you for your service & the pictures. Hope all your equipment has been through the IED retrofit or comes new with IED protection. Drove past a facility in Sealy,TX this morning that is winding down it's vehicle production. Still has lots of vehicles similar to those in your pictures. |
