Wish i could find someone in ohio to do that to my pond.Everyone tells me i have to drain it and wait a few months to dry out so a dozer can push it out.

I have a Hubota X61 super series I just love it and so does my dog. We went to the upper pasture yesterday to remove black berries. You have get that big root out or they just pop right back up next spring. I bought mine ms for $11,500 had it shipped out for out for $1500 and spent another $3000 for a 3 ft. Bucket and quick hitch. Best thing I ever bought for the this old farm. Walt

Wow, Looks like the people you work for are in the lower tax brackets. Looks like a really high priced operation, to clear a pond. I did a pond clearing job for a customer this spring. Drove my Kubota KX41 out in the cattails as far as I dared, reached out as far as I could, and cast the crud 180D behind me. Then moved over and did it again until done. Charged the guy $250 bucks, for 1/2 days work. Sure looks like that "happy home owner" paid a lot more. Loren

Ps, how do u like the kubota Kx 41? We rented a Kx 715 or 13 from JHI this summer it was a nice machine, I can't believe how quiet it was! Is yours smaller or bigger? What's it weigh?

Joe's Kubota was a bit bigger than mine, when we built his building there. I'm not sure about the models you refered to, but I have run all makes from JD's for "Carver" to Cats includind Joe's 225 that we did all the excavation with and set all the steel in his buildindg with. Pound for pound you can't beat a Kubota. Mine is 6yrs. old now, rented it when new, and purchased it from Wes at RI, Fultonville, in 06. with a Lowe auger att. Fuel, Filters, greese, and oil have been my only expenses. Although I have retired, it still gets used on a weekley basis and I selectively rent it out, or work it hourly with operator/me. for select customers and contractors. Loren the Acg.
