Tried posting a pic of an interesting, old article yesterday, but it came though with too small, and with too low of a resolution for many to read. Someone said I needed to post, basically without letting the site's settings take over the post. Anyone know how to do this? |

| | Hey Wayne. Did you know that you can upload jpgs directly from your computer? Also files intended for display on a moniter should generally be 72ppi or thereabouts because that is about what can be displayed. If you are shooting with a digital camera use the lowest resolution. Your page should be about 1 meg. Hope this helps, Brad |

| Photobucket is probably your best bet. It may compress your JPEG a bit, but it won't resize it. And you can then embed the Photobucket image into your post so it looks like it's part of the post. |

| You need to resize the picture to 600 x 400 pixels or 400 x 600 depending on the orientation of the picture. That should make it the right size to view. |

| If you have a decent camera that will get in tight, I'm wondering if it would be better to take a closeup of the page. The resolution would probably be better. |

| I'm not sure Wayne, but I do know that the site here tends to set a picture to the size that's correct for the forum so it can really make it blurry at times. I assume you scanned it from your home computer/printer/scanner and saved it on your hard drive? If so, could you email it to me so I could see if I could read it? I really would like to be able to read it fully, looked very interesting. My email is open, try it that way and we can see if it works or not. |

| I do not remember if I scanned this page and emailed it to myself or took the image with my camera. Anyway, I downloaded it to my hard drive and imported it to my photobucket account and from there to here
