The portion of this barn that is filled with hay is 56ft wide and 48ft long. This is this years hay. It is mostly bermuda with a row of bahia across the front. I usually graze the bahia, but my cow could not keep up so I cut and bailed some. I still have about 10 more acers of coastal to cut, but will not cut it for 3 to 4 weeks. I hope to have moved enough of this by that time to have room to put the new hay in. Oh, I turned in a materials list to the building supply people Friday for a price on building a 40X48 to store my equipment in. We will see if sticker shock sets in. JWalker |

| Hello JW. Nice hay crop.... Way up in northern Mn., everybody had a good hay crop the last 2 yrs. We make 5' 1200# bales of meadow hay, and no market up here. Truckers want 4' wide to haul. Ya can't win! We just built our 3rd shed...first one was our shop and in 2008 a 40x100 x12, and this summer a 40x14x104. We did the dirt work. Pole buildings, posts are 5'1/2" in the grd. 29,500 put up. Good Luck on yours! ( Sorry about the double pics!) Bob Mn |

| Have you tried checking into a 'Quonset' style style storage? Seems like a lot of space is watsed with the trusses. IMHO :) |
