12.8 moisture-56.8 TW. Running about 155 bu/acre, not bad for hardly any rain and none at this field since July 20th. Legends 9998rr, 26,500 pop, lighter soils, no starter, 3 tons/acre chick litter, 50# N at waist high. I cant complain on bit.

Im in north iowa, some frends of my combined a 60 acre field next to a lake and it did 180 at 14% 59 lbs. they were pretty stoked untill they moved on to the next farm thats sandy, It only made 14 at 50lbs 17%. Havent started on mine yet its 105 day corn and its still 19% but it has a fair amount of wind damage also.

Before I broke down a week ago mine was running 135 bu. 14.4 moisture and 61.2 test weight. That is the heaviest corn I ever raised in 40 years of farming. This is Titan 4998 and in Nicollet County Mn.

Took out a tiny early bean field, 41bu/ acre, that's good for 'here' in southern MN yellow clay/peat.

Been going at corn a few days, 14-19%, test weight is mostly 59. Yield is all over the place by soil type, think I'm averaging 130-150, which is good for what we had in weather. Think I found a field running 200 but it's only 5 acres; then the clay hills are looking more like 50....

Had a shower go through this morning, should be setting up the plow for my wife to have something to do....

Boy that's not bad at all given the moisture we've all had up here. Some acreage last year that we took 210 off of last year is running the 150 bushel range this year. It's better than I had anticipated that's for sure.
