Anyone running F150 with Ecoboost? What do you think of them verses the 5.0? Thanks |

| Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see you have the wrong engine, you are talking about the 3.7 v-6 the 3.5 ecoboost makes 365 hp @ 5000 and 425 lb-ft of torque @2500rpm, making 90% way down @ 1700 and holds it all the way up to 5000rpm, thats a torque curve of 3300 rpm. and when you tow with this you rarely go above 3500rpm. kind of like a small diesel, but with a fatter touque band. chuck |

You are right ,I do have the wrong Engine.HP and TOR numbers look even better. However RPM is still too high for a truck- even a light truck engine. My opinion only. |

| Personally I run an F250. It's not so much about getting the load up to speed as getting it stopped for me. |

The HP. and torque numbers look very good. The RPM number to get them don't look that good to me. How long is this engine going to last at those REVS doing hard work? |

| Not sure what you mean by the rpm comment. I have a 2012 supercab 4x4 with 3:73 gears and tow a fifth wheel camper weighing around 10,000# loaded. The truck is rated to tow 11,300#. Towing at 60 mph in the Cascade mountain range the highest rpm I've seen is around 3000 on the steepest grades (like the Santiam Pass when the truck shifted down into third) and I could have easily pick up speed. Torque curve charts show 90% of peak torque at 1,700 rpm. |

| i use one to tow my tractor to pulls, the tractor weighs 9600lbs and the truck pulls it better than any truck i've had in the past. it will do a better job than the 5.0. chuck |
