Well here at the lake of the Ozarks in Missouri this week end they are having a Civil war reenactment, Bike fest, Hill Billy fest, and the local tractor show all this week end. Seems like that is to many places to be at the same time and do any thing. Plus and this is the funny one. Every year it seems like when they have bike fest it rains and yep in the last 24 hours we have gotten around 2 inch of rain which we sure do need. Oh and also tomorrow is opening day of Bow deer hunting season

Old,
We were always told that this was NFT time by the locals at the lake. If you don't know what NFT stands for,I'll email it to you if you want.

Sounds like you should schedule bike fest in July next year.

How the heck do I do any thing about it??? I am not the person or people that set this up. As it is right now there will be so many people driving around that you almost have to be crazy to try to get any where near any of these things that are going on. They say there will be 10,000 bikers riding around and the add the guys hauling tractor to the show and the other going here and there it is safer to stay home

well rich, at least they offer something for everybody. drop the mrss off at the civil war enactment, leave the kids at hillbilly fest and the guys can go to the tractor show!!!! btw, gonna be pretty warm down there for deer hunting. after the rain the ticks and chiggers would be miserable. how are the lake levels there? lake norfork in mountain home ar is at 544 right now.

To wet out to go any place. Been raining for the last 2 days so I'll just stay in and keep dry. Learned to hate riding in the rain because it flat out hurts when your going 60 plus in the rain LOL

The lake of the Ozarks is almost always pretty steady as for the level since it is feed by a number of rivers. As for the different shows Years ago I would go to the tractor show but 45 miles one way at 15mpg and then doing that 3 days go to the point it would add up to well over $200 out of pocket so I now stay home since can not afford that type of out go. The boy is going to bike fest. If one was to try to go to them all they would be going around in circles since each is on a different side of the lake

Send that rain up here, we got about a 1/4 inch on Thursday, after they talked about raining all day.
