467 baler net wrap actuator

While baling with the baler today, I wrapped a bale and then got a low voltage signal. The wrap actuator engaged like it was supposed to but wouldn"t disengage. I fixed the low voltage problem but the actuator still won't disengage. What can I do to get it to back off? Thanks, Dan

Take it apart. It is bottomed out on the screw threads inside. Loosen the "nut" on the threads and see if it will work again.

shut off pto and hit wrap again...see if it works...I have took a 12 volt battery and two wires and unplugged the wiring and use the wires from battery one way and if it don't work reverse the wires...probably going out...do you pressure wash baler...I got water in actuator one time it rusted up....

I have one that is corroded on the inside of the gear case on my 456. Years ago JD wanted 1500.00 dollars for it So I donot use the net wrap.I need to find a after market unit

Turn the monitor off then push and hold the 123 button and at the same time turn it back on the monitor will go in to the channel mode then push the + button til it gets to channel 19 it will read the voltage there then push the retract button and it will release the belt tension on the bale wrap. Then you can bale again

JD must have lowered the price of the actuator.
AFH202031 ACTUATOR, SURFACE WRAP ADD 866.91 USD

Thanks for all the replys. I didn't see MwJ's post until I had already fixed it. Cannonball and I were thinking alike. I took my battery charger and jumped the plug on the actuator motor. I reversed the wires and it ran backward for me and released the tension. Thanks for all the help. Dan
