| Copper may take the pressure but will not take the vibration of the fuel, I would give it two hours before it breaks at the flair. BTDT |

| I dont know what kinda pressure your talking but my Allis WD has 3/8 copper for the hydraulic lines and it runs at 3800psi. They have been like that for years and no problems. I say go for it. |

| Another thing to take into consideration. All injection lines have a very specific size hole in them. It match's the retraction value of the delivery valve in volume. You never even want to install lines of different size inside holes let alone a copper line. It is not unusual for a manufacturer of engines to use different sized holes in the lines for same displacement engines as they change horse power, like adding a turbo etc. The delivery valve, injection nozzle and line all work together to cut off injected fuel with out dribble and still keep line full for next injection cycle. |

| Cut open your bad steel line and loosk and see how thick the walls are and you will forget about trying to use coper. Get the RIGHT line or you will be asking for trouble. |

| | Don't even THINK about using copper! Copper pipe/tubing is subject to metal fatigue/rupture under repetitive high pressure fluctuations. Consequently it must not be used for diesel injection lines. |

| NO NO NO!!!!! You will get hurt bad. The lines from the pump to the injectors are also the same lenght, no matter which cylinder it goes to. It won't run right with different lenghts of tubing. |

| Yes they all have to be the same length. That is why they have all the bends in them. |
