On this website, "How do you bale hay?"

60% voted for small round bales.

When someone says small round bales I think of the old Roto balers that I think Allis made. I haven't seen one of those bales in twenty years. I guess some people aren't aware that those balers even exist. I imagine by small they were thinking 4x5, which is still a large round bale.

If you look at all of the different surveys on here, it becomes clear that some folks have too much time on their hands. IIRC, the crop grown the most is pumpkins! And there are some other aberrant answers, as well. I think someone is just stuffing the ballot box.

When you look at the survey on what chainsaw people use, Jonsered wins, when you ask opinions on here its just Stihl! It seems like I am the only one using Jonsereds. There are not to many dealers in N MN anymore.

Heres a Roto Baler pic for you.Dad bought it new in 48' Ikeep telling myself i am going to get it out and make a few, but another summer has slid by with no Roto bales to pick up. Maybe next year. Bruce
