Looking for the top coiled springs for a cc JD quaker Jd want 30.00 plus for them thinking there must be a different source for then?All they are is a coiled spring about 18inches long.every time I find a different souce than adealer its 50% less and the same quality.Some times it where the dealer orders it. |

| A 40 series corn head gathering chain spring is very, very close to the spring you need. The diameter is approximately the same. It says free length is about 10 1/2 inches. The number is N61703 and according to my dealer is priced at $6.38. Hope this helps. Mike |

| Keep checking around salvage yards, other farmers, online and maybe with a local manufacturer than might have a catalog or source for springs. Maybe a good hardware store might have such springs, or have access to them. |
