I could of had a v8 ,but the adirondack case man[a fellow tractor talker on this site] talked me into canning it from stuff from the garden!

I love the homemade tomato juice my wife makes but can't stand V8 and store bought tomato juice because its so salty

I wouln'd mind driveing mixer again, but don't think my knees could take it. Yes they had a few around, but I never drove one, theys thick as fleas now.

you bet I made a mess,even cleaned it up ,the wife works more than I do,and I like canning the garden stuff,it was raining hard that morning anyway

Campbell's also sells a low sodium version.
V8 is a high quality product as I have observed the making of it as a grower for them for over 30 years.

but that's what makes it soooo good.

Like anything - if it's good it'll kill ya.

I've tried the low salt kind - just doesen't do it for me.

A thought just occurred to me, as I'm sitting here salivating over the pictures.

Does EVERYBODY put lemon juice in their V8 when they drink it?

Or is that just a family thing?

I've always done it - wouldn't drink it without it.

My father always did - so I always did.

But it just occurred to me that I have no idea if that's a common thing to do or not. Always assumed everybody did.

Yes? no?

Yea my wife is a salt addict too even puts it on
watermelon and tomatoes,I rarely use the stuff.I love pepper,garlic and other seasonings.
