i knew there was a problem! for awhile i was actually doing the morning feeding with the sun coming up, now its back to doing it in the pre dawn dark, and my clock says im doing it at the same time of day, im not sure we had summer, got so much going on that i missed it

I have seen snow that stayed around as early as Oct 18. But sometimes we dont get it till January. When I first come up to this country we had a couple of feet in Nov and it was 40 below. By Xmas all the snow went away and I saw people combining on Xmas day.

Here in New Liskeard area the ground freezes up during the last half of November, and snow starts near that time as well. The snow is mostly gone by the middle of april, but never completely gone til May sometime. Daylight at Christmas is from 8 am till 5 pm, and at the end of June is from 4am til 11 pm, but at 47.7 degrees north, we are waaay south of Lyle.

Hey Larry, where I live in southern Ontario, we are 3 weeks behine you for snow. So if you get your frist snow the week of Christmas , we get ours three weeks before. And spring comes three weeks later than yours will. Bruce
