High quantities of pods, not filling, plants drying up.Can always be worse right. Oh wait, Nov Beans up $.49 Argh!!!

Hoping the corn got it's fill of moisture when it got it and test weights will be there, because there sure are some bog ol ears hanging on them dying stalks. Lotta corn in the area sure is struggling also.

Here in just north of mid mo, early beans are about the right height, lots of pods, and a place for 3 beans in them, but pods are flat. Late beans 6-8 inches tall, not going to be a good bean year. Lots of corn mowed and baled, most were plastic wrapped, cause of the nitrate poisning, some real early corn has nice looking ears, but not filled all the way out. Some farmers disked their corn crop down.

East Central Iowa, no beans only corn and hay this year. The hay crop was 1/3 to 1/2 of normal. Some of my corn looks pretty good but will weigh 20% light, some looks real poor. I only had 1/10 of sweet corn that I should have. I just planted fall peas and lettuce in the garden.
