Im looking for a Deutz mechanic that can help me out with the mechanics of the clutch on a 9190, or website to look up the scamatics. Just bought one, and the clutch doesn"t seem to help slow it down.

Being idled up, it won't shift in and out of gear, you have to idle down to change gears, is this normal?

well ya standard procedure to shift at idle, deutz or no deutz.is this your first tractor experience cause it sounds like. do you shift your vehicle with your foot held to floor on accellerator? unless you only drove automatic's.

It sounds like the clutch is just stuck to the flywheel. Standard operating procedure for guys who don't fear death is to get them started in gear, hold the pedal down and jam the brakes to break them loose.

I'm not a Deutz guy,but it's not unusual for a clutch to stick to the flywheel after they set awhile. On a lot of different things, not just a Deutz.
