Went to Oakley tractor show today. I found JWondergem and his good looking 88 Oliver. He is on the East end the first tractor in the row by the road. I had a real nice visit with him. We had allot in common and I probably could have spent the entire day sitting there talking. He is looking forward to seeing you guys Sat. He promised to have his high tech canopy shorted out by Saturday as long as its not too windy. I wish I could make it there Sat. to meet some more of you guys. I thought there was allot more vender's there than usual and enjoyed the show. I came home with my usual bag of misc hardware and my pocket book just a little lighter.

I enjoyed meeting you DoubleR. I thought it was unique in the way our lives took a parallel. Sorry I didn't get to meet rustyplow and some of the others.

I agree on the carts, I think the show flyer said for handicapped only.

I seen several without any permits on them.

Went to Oakley on Friday. This was not my first time and I was not overlay impressed. Seems like their flea market (vendor area) is getting smaller and smaller. This is part of the reason I go, plus looking at the neat conversions that are done both on tractors and lawn tractors. Also felt there were way too many carts running around the grounds, a lot driven by kids. I will say however that I did meet some very nice people, but I always seem to at tractor shows and that also is what keeps me going. I'm planning on going to the show at Clio, tried to go to Caro but got rained out. Before I retired, my job prevented me from attending a lot of the shows, I now plan to make up for it.

I was there this afternoon. But didn't find his tractor till after he was gone. Oh well, was a good show anyway. Kinda light on Olivers, them being the feature brand. Still a good show though:-)
