Can you tell me approx weight of my 1959 Ford model 841? I have a single axle trailer with one 3500 pound axle. Want to know if I can haul it.
Thanks,
David

Haul it yes but if D.O.T. sees you t]your in for trouble. Best not to do it and depending on what your pulling it with you can not stop fast enough and if you do get into an accident your will be in it big time

Single axle trailers are best used with nothing on them, other than leaves or grass clippings. If you are going to haul a tractor, you need to get a double axle trailer.

Shipping weight on an 841 is 2979#. While it's an overload, you may be able to do it for a short distance, but I wouldn't try cross country with the tractor on it's back.

I have a little trailer with a 3500 lb axle. That's also the gross trailer weight.

But the trailer weighs 1000 lbs, so max payload is 2500 lbs.

Can't even put my 9N on it weight wise.

I would put the typical 801 at around 2 ton.
I wouldn't try it on a single axle trailer.
If you rent a double axle trailer to haul it tell them it's for a 1958 Ford Fairlane or
some such. More than once I've heard of Uhaul, etc having a hissy fit when you mention hauling a tractor.
