decent ears
northwest corner of this field has some sandy loam, pretty dry there about 4 acres
beans look a little better. that is the new continental elevator off in the background.
only a mile from the field. pretty handy,
heres a closer pic of the new elevator. they can unload a semi in under 2 minutes. sits on 160 acres, they have a rail spur to load out cars. (near dwight il)

| Looks good considering the year weve had. I wish I could find a field that looked that good. Some of our best ground that averages well over 200 bushel probably only make 100 may be 115 if were lucky. Got some fields that never even put on an ear. We got some pretty decent beans in places that got the spoty showers that might do pretty good if the mites or sds dont get them. Im just hopin we dont start gettin alot of wind and rain during harvest and knock down corn. No taller than the stalks are that will be tuff to get it harvested. |
