I finally finished my last of the "big cans" of Gatorade (type 02 Perform)), 51 oz, makes 24 quarts, had bought a box of them while back. Went to WM to get more and almost keeled over: No big cans anymore, all prepackaged and ready to drink or little pencil sized pouches to make 20 oz.....!!!! And at prices only Michael Phelps can afford!!! What's up with that? Anyone still found "big cans" somewhere? Reasonable? Or any other brand, name-brand or store-brand? Just looking for options.
Thanks in advance, Ralph in OK.

I agree with ss55 I buy most of may stuff from walmart .com free shipping or .97 cent can't drive there that cheap, and they are out of stock etc. My biggest reason is about 5 years a go I went to get some dog food and came home with a 7' fiberglass ladder i had no intention of buying.

Don't know where you are but around here it's available in the small plastic containers from the Food Lion chain of grocery stores. Beyond that, places like Grainger, etc also still have it in the bulk packs that make 2 1/2 gallons.

Walmart.com carries a lot of items that they do not stock in stores. It never hurts to ask a store employee or a manager if they have an item in the stock room. If they have it they will normally bring it out for you, and asking lets the manager know there is some demand for the item. You have to be extra patient with many Walmart employees though.

For larger sizes check Amazon.com or maybe e-bay.

Cycling stores carry a lot of sports drinks, sometimes at a discount:
Nashbar.con
PerformanceBike.com
REI.com
