This old Ford truck sounds strange (video)

Super short clip but the sound is still there :)

My buddy took this as I was leaving his house. I delivered a plow to him and picked up a sprayer. I had a planter to pick up on the way home. It was a 400 mile round trip. The yellow Ford never missed a beat :)

No, it actually wasnt that terrible. It just took a little time and a little work with a hammer and the blue tipped wrench. It was on and off for around a year.
 
Ive been thinkin' bout putting a Cummins in Dad's old 66 'jimmy'.Or maybe the GMC body on a Dodge/Cummins running gear.
 
Great truck. Had a friend years ago shoehorn a 4-53T Detroit in a Surburban and backed it with an Allison automatic. Now that was a screeming truck whose sound you oould not confuse with anything else. Unique sound, and enough unph to pull the t!ts off a bull, now that was one mean truck.
 
Knew a guy back inthe 70's that put some 4-53's in IH Travelalls and sold them. Noise was really bad!
