Hello Folks,

Anyone ever stick an Allis C in the back of a long bed half ton truck? This one doesnt have the rear wheels on it, just wondering if anyone had the length on it so I can figure out if I can just drop it into the back of the truck when I pick it up. (loader available so no worries on getting it in there)

I believe it is going to be too long and too wide, if you look at dims below,114 in, almost 10 feet, go borrow a trailer and do it safely instead of causing a wreck.

My Dad used to haul a B in the back of his pickup. Would drive it onto his tri axle trailer, then use ramps to load it into the pickup. If they are the same length, should work ok.

You're going to be way over weight/capacity on a 1/2 ton, might be better to rent/borrow a trailer or a 1 ton pick up.

Should fit with the tail gate down. I know a guy who would haul a 8N in the bed of his 3/4 ton truck from time to time and they are about the same as for how long they are. I could go out and measure my C if you want me to and come up with the true length
