Yesterday while hooking up the jumper cables to add some juice to an electric hoist I held the cables together in one hand while hooking the other end to the battery terminals, looked like fireworks for a second. Today I went to town to go to the FSA office and pickup some parts and the wife asked me to pickup toilet paper, forgot twice (luckily she reminded me for a third time). Then tonight I was delivering hay and fell backwards off the deck of my gooseneck. I'll blame it on the heat. Maybe that fall knocked some sense back into me.

And here I thought I was alone doing this. I can handle CRS which is Can't Remember Sh...tuff that doesn't concern me but CRTS petrifies me. CRTS is Can't Remember Too Sh...tuff. LOL

I've been diagnosed with adult attention deficit disorder.

Chronically forgetfull, and a horrible procrastinator.

They put me on medication for it and it helped a LOT. Made a HUGE difference in my life.

Funny thing is, the medication is considered a controlled subustance - and I have to visit the doctor monthly to get it.

I fell behind on the medication last year - and I've been procrastinating on making another appointment ever since!

jr, I've got the same problem. Then, I found out the active ingredient in the stuff I was taking was remarkably similiar to another substance I like, and far less expensive than a prescription product. Rather than two spoonfulls of the other drugstore stuff, I have found that four fingers of JB or CR or OC will accomplish very much the same results. Then I don't care about forgetting anything. And I don't care if the war department gets mad when I forget.

Couple of uears ago I wrote out a list of things to pick up in town and stuck the note in my T shirt pocket, grabbed my billfold and checkbook and hit the road. Forgetting I even wrote a note, I shopped trying to remember everything I came up there for. Went home and went about my day till I took off my shirt for a shower and it fell out of my pocket. Only forgot one item.

They gave us a bag of marbles when I went to work for the phone company. Told me that when a guy lost his marbles, they made him a boss....

My wife tells me to write myself a note, but I tell her I will just forget to read the note then.

My wife says I go around every day dropping a marble here and
there. I know she's right because at the end of the day I've always
lost my marbles. :)

Murphy gave up on me. I can screw up things without his help. Do a good job of it to.
