rained this morning ,not a lot

it rained enough to stop our job,pretty hard,but not too long, I came home did some canning while it was raining ,now the sun is out strong,and I am doing some yard work here in nj,We managed to keep the zinnia patch and a canteloupe alive,but look at my grass,its toasted, We had more rain in PA than we did where we are here in nj,but it is dry in pa too,

The pictures of the crops at the PA farm/garden have looked pretty good compared to some of the crops here.

Got 1/2" about 6am today then sunny and hot all day
Just started raining about 5:30 pm cool and comfortable now in Central NY

Larry, that yard do look kinda rough! Lawns can rebound fairly well, but unwanted grass tends to work its way in sometimes. Canning looks like time well spent.
