They are from the '30s but not from a car or a truck but a tractor. A 30's Essex Tri-directional. And they are not mud flaps but GPS antennas. Yes in the '30 the Essex tractor company had the fore thought to install GPS on their tractors. The only problem was that satelites were not invented yet. A problem being a company more advanced than NASA. That is why the annetannas are by themselves. They more than likely removed shortly after the tractor was brought home.

Not exactually sure,..but they look to be off a late 1920"s or early 1930"s Chevy. hey could be off a truck or car of that era. Hard to tell without having a reference to look at.

Just a difference it terminoligy between countrys but here in the states that is called a fender. A mud guard is what fits about 1" from a wheel either rubber or steel to scrape mud off like between the front tires of a row crop tractor or the wheels on a grain drill. The tractor unit is usually the one called a mudguard while the implement one is called a scraper but not always.

Rex, I'm no expert but looks like they could have come from a 33-34-35 Ford.

| | I restored a 35 Ford. These are no where close to the Ford fenders. Harold H |

Not sure, could be. But they have creases in the top of the guards, and I don't think they sweep far enough back. Another pic.
