| | Our neighbor had a threshing machine along with a 15-30 McCormick-Deering tractor. He only used it for belt work. When I was a teen I would follow it to other farms as he did custom work. The always needed extra help and fed you a dinner and sometimes supper fit for a king. In 1949 or 1950 we were at the last farm for the season and they were blowing the straw into the straw mow. A light bulb was lit and set the barn on fire. The tractor owner jumped off the threshing machine and tried to pull it out of the barn. The 15-30 had solid rubber and would just spin.. It ruin the threshing machine and the barn. I think some dairy cows were lost too as they came in where it was cool. They wasn't many dry eyes around there. Hal |

| Do you know anything about the Huber??? My son was friends with a guy that had one when John was a young teenager 12, 13, 14 and when the Ozark Steam-O-Rama was going he would go stay with him for the weekend. Then he got a Divorse and she took the engine out of spite. John thinks it went to TN. It had a name on it then Sarah. |
