Is the pumpkin crop affected by the drought? Where are most pumpkins grown? Also are cucumbers for pickels grown in the stricken area? I know corn and beans are affected, just wondering about other crops.

| There are a lot of pumpkins grown in Clay Co. IL. Just driving by the fields, they don't look to bad.

| Interesting question. I'm pretty sure I rememebr that the top pumpkin producing area was either Illinois or Indiana. When I was a kid,right here in Montcalm County Michigan,we were the top pickle producing county in the United States,but I don't know where the bulk of them are grown anymore. You just don't see them here.
