OT---Computer question related to eBay?

When I am watching an item on ebay, I sometimes have a strange problem. When the item is "counting down"--- time left, although it is in red print, less then One hour left, and I am logged in, it does not count down. I have to constantly refresh to get accurate time left.
This doesn't happen all the time, just most of the time.
Any suggestions?

For instance---There is 59 min 13 sec. left. The display is in red and it does not change. I can refresh and it will read 58 min 45 sec. left.
No-- I don't believe it is normal for this to happen and at other times it will count down the seconds--automatically-- until the item ends.
I am not new to eBay----bought many items over the years, and this problem just started.

The last hour or so-whatever it is-mine counts down. Very nice to watch. What browser? and are you maybe having more that one browser up and running? Tho I think that i have had multiple browsers up and it still counts down on its one.

I'm pretty sure that countdown is not an eBay feature but a local timer on your computer. Likely a 'cookie' downloaded from eBay. Make sure you have your computer set to accept cookies.

Just bid what you think it is worth and don't worry about the count down thing.
