i picked up what i think is a ford or ford new holland 2 row , 3 point cultivator, [ ford blue all tage gone] the problem is somebody welded on a pair of cat 2 lift pins, dont know why i guess his tractor was big lol, but while i know there are adapters to put a cat 1 impliment on a cat 2 tractor, is there anything to go the other way? cat2 impliment to cat1 tractor

The Ford cultivators had bolt in pins for the lower lift arms and were set on outside of frame for cat 2 and inside for cat 1 and you unbolted and turned them around. The mast for the top link had 2 holes in, one for cat 1 and second for cat. The lower lift arms are set wider for cat 2 than cat 1. This is on 4 row and larger units.

yes i thought so, i wasnt paying attention and this one has cat 2 pins welded to the outside of the main frame, im afraid if i cut these back off the way its welded on the the holes will be so large ill have to fab up plates for the frame and start over , just checking to see if i have any other choise to use it
