when installing a new clutch , do I need that alinement tool or can i just ut the end of the pto shaft in the clutch n tighten the clutch down?

Not the pto shaft the shaft that goes to the rear.

I have just looked at a lot of them. Seriously I have broken off wheat straws or twigs. Just to measure with.
