I copied this directly from external_link. It seems like other have posted about parts being hard to get. That is all I know. I am attaching a to the info on Tractor Data.

link Agri-Power was a tractor brand used by Menards and Wholesale America, Inc., of Eau Claire, Wisconsin from approximately 1982 to 1995. The initial line of tractors were re-branded Fiat models acquired from Argentina. Later models were re-branded Zetor tractor imported directly, with final assembly occurring in Wisconsin. Wholesale America, Inc. was dissolved in 1995.

Run away..........

Stay away........

Don't look back.....

Menards - the lumber company - found this pile of new tractors no one wanted, bought them for nothing, sold them through their stores, and promised there would be 10 years worth of parts available for these orphans, I think they started runnig out after 7 years if I remember. That was, what, 20 years ago?

An aquantence has been looking for a starter for a couple years now.....

Agra-Powers were built in Czechoslovakia. I bale hay for a customer that has one. I know one has to operate 2 levers to get pto to come on. They are about equal to a Belarus.

Have 3 Agri Power tractors made by Fiat in Argentina, models 7000, 8000, and 9000. Was told just over 1000 were brought into the states by Menards. In Argentina same Fiat models were 700E, 800E, and 900E. 11000 was a 9000 with front wheel assist. Use the 8000 as is, removed three point from 7 and 9000 to lighten up a little for tractor pulling. Have not tried but had a NH dealer say he thought some parts would be available through NH since Fiat is involved now.

Menard's found a pile new tractors the manufacturer couldn't sell, that's got to tell you something right there. A retailer not previously in this line of merchandise buys them from the manufacturer at a distressed price.....WHY? If they were so darn tootin good why didn't the Argentinians who built the darn things snap them up? It is fun to have something unusual or different, I think that's some of the allure of the 2 cylinder John Deeres (or Harleys) but remember a tractor is a durable good, they should last quite a while but for them to be useful you'll need parts support or connections with folks that are real good at building and adapting parts. We can complain about the cost of parts from Mother Deere, or AGCO or CNH but I think you'll agree it's even more expensive to have a tractor you can't get parts for. On the other hand if you keep one of these off brand gems running for 5 years you'll have developed some interesting mechanical skills. One of the bright sides of the Chinese domination of lower end of about any market is they don't seem to understand the need for customer product support and they want to abuse you on parts cost (making Mother Deere look like Walmart) doesn't take to long for folks to want to go to something of quality with support. Unless the Chinese work on customer/product support I think (hope) they'll peak early and someone else will take over their markets.
