Will a Ford 772 front end loader fit on a Ford 6640 tractor?

It would not be a direct bolt on. It probably could be fitted with some cutting/welding. That said... it could probably be destroyed by a 6640 just as quickly. I doubt very much that it's enough loader for that tractor.

I had one on a 3910, a much smaller tractor

Like Rod said.
They were sold with various mounts to fit anything from the 2/3000 all the way up to the 5/7000. I had one on my 4600 for quite a few years, but even a 50 h.p. tractor can beat that loader up.
