belly mower lift

Hello All, Has anyone made a belly mower lift that will lift the mower level?? My C Allis with a sunmaster lifts at an angle. I would like to be able to mow the ditches higher than around my sheds. The skids are at max height and if I raise it to mow the ditch it cuts deeper on the center/rear blade. I think a 4 point dual pivot system would work. Just wondering if anyone else has done this? G.
 
I have some places like you describe and wanted to cut them taller yet even. I ended up picking up an old worn out sickel mower. I dont use it often but it does a good job at what your talking about. I have two belly mowers and on mine when you raise the deck all the way up if you try and mow the belt has a lot of slack in it.
 
Belt slack is another concern. But if the 4 link bars are parallel and tilted slightly down, when the deck is lifted the belt would get tighter when the link bars are level then slack back when they go over center. Would only need to lift the deck 6" or so. Also I believe I would need to design a bracket/link to pull the deck from the front rather than pushing it from the back. I will be in the shop all afternoon today trying to figure this out. G.
