Loader Removal

I took the Wagner Loader off of our 8N tractor, the shaft that runs from the hydraulic pump to the fly wheel is flanged so I seperated it there. The remaining shaft that goes to the fly wheel has a round plate attached with 4 pins that slide into the front of the fly wheel. How do I remove that final shaft? I can't pull it out because of the plate. Is it threaded onto the plate? Or is there a set screw that I can't see. Any advice will help, Thank you!

Flywheel me think you not sure what your looking at. The flywheel is at the back of the engine and you can not see it I bet you mean the crank shaft pulley. Most of those pump shafts just pull out of the center of that bolt on plate that is on the crank shaft pulley but a few are screw in type and you unscrew then the opposite way the engine turns but they do come off hard since it has had years of spinning the pump so they do get good and tight

The shaft is screwed into the plate with four pegs. The threads are LEFT HAND so have to loosen it the opposite of normal way. Put plate with four pegs into the sheave to hold it.

Once the shaft is out you can remove the plate with pegs from sheave and lift it up and out of the location.
