Jd cast weights (circle vs Z center)

Wondering if anyone can tell me the pro and cons between the two, got a local guy asking 225 a set for the circles and 325 for the Z centers? Is that a good deal? Everythings professionally repainted and has the JD stamps in them.
Thanks

The "Z" type weights were designed so that the rack & pinion type axles could have the wheels moved to different tread widths without having to remove the weights to access the pinion bolt. I still remember installing them at the JD dealership. Align the first weight on the timing mark on cast wheel and then turn every other weight 180%'s so the bolt holes will align correctly to match up the "Z"s.

That is way too high on the weights. The Z weight as you are calling them are going for $175-$200 per set. It does not cost $125 to paint them.

I am not sure what weight you are calling a circle weight. The $225 seems high as well.

Post us the casting numbers and then I can tell you more.
