Any more stories about larger Kubota's going to be made...

I keep asking every year or so to see if anyone has heard any new info. At one time they were going to build some farm tractors in the 160 or 180 hp range. I know there's a kubota dealer gentleman on here, or used to be, that might know. Thanks.

There was a rumor a month or so ago Kubota was talking/trying to but Vermeer.

Who knows, something must be in the wind though.

Kubota says there coming out with bigger tractors and they just bought Kverneland so they will probably have there own implements like balers, rakes etc.

Well Oliver guy guess good news and bad news.. Yes and no. we now have a couple of 128H.P. units in the field now being tested in South America..May be sometime before we see the unit in production..Next move that may shake things up is bringing in a KUBOTA combine. They are one of the more competive units now in Japan and are looking at the North American market. In the short term the next tow new items will be a WHEEL skid steer to go with the new track versions out and MAYBE a excvator the size of the cat 312.. Vemere who knows ....They really wanted Land Pride but couldn,t get it done

Thanks. I really like my 125. Just wondered if I needed to start saving for a big one! Combine? Hmmmm.... what size and it's a rotor?

Working on what size might work as well as doing some planing on what price needs to be. Lots of small farmers in a hurt now because the makers are not making anything they can afford. What is running now in Japan is twin rotor for most part.

My neighbors bought 2 of the 100 horse power tractors. They complain that with the turbo 4 cylinder the tractor bogs down very easy when pulling a disc or plow. Other than that they love them. Say they are comfortable, and fuel effecient.

Yeah, I had a 105 before I got this 125 I have now. The differences are night and day. That 105 had a lot less displacement and thus the torque you are talking about. It was not a hard working field machine. It was a good machine, but I had a chance to sell it and buy a 125 and I'm glad I did. My 1850 gasser would work circles around that 105 in field work. Heck the engine block was about as long as the one on my Kubota 5740 (around 57hp).
