I'm the somewhat proud owner of a Huffy "Caprice Electromatic" lawn tractor. It has an 8HP B&S, 32" mowing deck (removable), 3 speed, headlights
horn, electric start and cigarette lighter (standard). It was mfg by the Huffman Mfg. Co of Dayton Ohio. The tractor is a model 4826 7010. I bought this tractor
last year from a retired fellow who repairs lawn tractors for a hobby (and cash). He loved the tractor but couldn't fit another one. Has anyone ever heard or seen
of this tractor? Its old but it runs like a top and is in near perfect condition.

Regards,

Dave Terry

: Dave I have the same exact one at home. The thing has so much torque that even in third gear it climbs out of a huge hole that I dug in the yard. I got a B&S carb rebuild kit for about $18.00 from jackssmallengines.com. great sitre for engine parts. also use alanfunk@aol.com. I had to remove the cutting deck for now unitl I can figure out what it was supposed to do. It is missing a few brackets. I will fabricate them as I discover what is neeeded. I think this tractor is very similar to certain Sears models. I saw a Sears in PA last month and it looked exactly the same. Except the headlights were square.
