Temps got up around 55, so I decided it was a nice day to fire up the old B and drag some pasture---

That's what I have for a harrow. How wide is yours? Mine is 4ft and I pull it with the quad.. Still haven't decided if it's work or fun... Gotta do mine as soon as it dries up some. Nice lookin tractor, shame someone spilt that green paint on it

You've obviously had a dry winter. To have that much manure on there and no damage to the grass stand indicates that it was DRY there. I drag my pastures as well. I really don't know if it does any good or not.......but I enjoy doing it. 'Sort of that "first" spring ritual.

Have a 12 footer, like to get some "seat time" on a sunny day along about this time of year.

Wife did it once with our "compact utility" JD 18.5 HP tractor- pulled it fine, but "pounded the puddin'" out of her. I'm back to doing it with an Oliver row crop- much more comfortable, and nothing beats the sound of that 6 cylinder loafin' along.

Almost no snow, very little frost, dry summer last year, flowers starting to bloom and a month of winter left. Gonna be a bad year for brush fires and plenty of Baltimorons up here to light 'em off--

While I'm partial to the other green, IMHO, there is no sweeter sounding tractor in the field than a Super 88 Diesel--
