Way to warm today

Got up to over 70 degrees here in Missouri today which for this time of year is way to warm. Calling for high winds tonight up to around 50mph so may have to duck for cover. Sure has been a odd winter

Looks like we're finally gonna get some. Winter storm warning for the counties south of us,winter weather advisory here. TV weather guy said he wouldn't be surprised if the warning got moved a tier of counties to the north. That's us.

You think that was hot, come to Texas it hit 87 today. High for tomorrow will be 50 or so. We just wait to see what comes next down in South Texas. The saying here is if you don't like the weather today, standby it will change tomorrow.

You just wait, Rich, you just wait! It's commin your way!

Well, maybe not, I don't know what direction this one is headed but we've had wet sknow all day and now it's blowing. The temp isn't all that bad for this time of year, about 27 now. Sounds like more snow coming for monday so maybe our drought is easing up. Jim

Monday/Tuesday were warm(50-60)Yesterday and today were COLD! with a 40/50 mph wind.Spent today in the shop by the woodstove.

A week and a half ago, my wife saw the first robins. Our daffodils have been up all week and today I saw the first buds on them. Our apricots have proper buds and I think just a few more days of this weather and they'll be in bloom. I haven't had the heart to even look at the apple trees. I hope we don't have a fruitless year again! Some of the oak trees around here have buds that are starting to swell. And this evening I heard the first spring peepers, though very faintly. In addition, it has been rather dry this winter and so now I am going like a one-armed paper hanger.... Gee where did winter go and I guess the next stop is summer!? I better buckle my seatbelt.

Ya I heard the frog tonight and this time of year that is a bad sign. Been to warm and to dry so far so maybe another bad year for hay and gardens etc

Just the usual mid-40s February day here in Minnesota. Er wait... I'm pretty sure I meant to say either March or abnormal.

Couple months ago at the beginning of the year, watching a Saturday morning tv farm show their weather prognosticator gave his 90 day prediction. It was "colder than normal for the midwest". Yeah right, maybe he read that in the Farmers' Almanac.
