484. Put up msny bales with one- it was my first round baler. They have a soft core, and if you put some horsepower in front of one, you can put some hay in one and have a pretty solid outside that will shed rain pretty well.

One hour north of the Oshawa GM plant, The home of the new GM Camaro. I like the baler just fine and have had it for 15 or 16 years. I only make 4-500 bales of grass hay with it each year now, for dry cows and heifers. And yes soft core. Bruce

I used a 4030 and a 4430 on mine and got a solid bale before the door lifted. Neighbor was running a 4610 on his, and waited untill the tractor was really talking, and then tied his. But his bales were not full, and would flatten over the winter. He later got a 2940 and finally started filling the baler until the beeper went off. First time he heard it, he thought there was something wrong--

1 hour north of Oshawa. I have been in your area. When I worked in Oshawa, I would jump in the car and head north into the country for the weekend just to get away from the city and look and some scenery, eat at the little local places, a beer or two, and to check out any old farm equipment for sale. Very nice area out there.

Looks good Bruce especially on another gray cold overcast Ont. day. What day did you take the pics? We didn't have many clear hay days here this year,Bob (2 1/2 hr. west of you)

Show off!!!!!!! We ain't got no hay to bale down heah!!!!! Haaaa!

Just kidding. Looks real nice and I am proud for you.

Problem with getting your surplus up there down here is the shipping charges. For a lot of people it just puts the hay out of reach, literally.
