pictures of my snow plow

I have been working on this for a couple weeks in my spare time. I was given the blade and I made all the bracketry. I bought a PTO engage cable from the local truck repair shop and thats what switches the pump flow direction. It just push/pulls in and out about 3/4 of an inch. To activate the pump motor I wired up a water proof push button to a ford truck silenoid. I still need to get some shoes for the bottom and another spring for the plow but its about all done. I have about $75 bucks wrapped up in the whole project. Im really happy with it but I hope I dont have to use it!! Wishful thinking. Enjoy

This is the same project I have lined up. I was curious how it was going to mock up. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for posting.

Good looking setup. Much cleaner than the one I did for my WC. I was lucky and got all the plow controls with mine, so it was a matter of mounting it to the tractor, and figuring how the get around the narrow front.

You'll have a blast pushing snow. My rears are loaded, plus I put another 1200lbs on the back. It will go through some snow.

Just one comment here. You should brace that lift tower back to the side frame somehow. I realize you won't be bouncing it up and down at 30 miles an hour like you would with a pickup, but there is enough weight and power there to fold it over, even at low speeds.
