Has any one ever heard of an oliver 1700? my father said he use to have one. I remember riding it when I was little if possible email me a photo thanks.

Don-Wi is correct. 1600, 1800, 1900 all made, but no 1700.

There never was a 1700. There was a 1600, 1800, or 1900, then when the 50 series came out there was the 1550, 1650, 1750, 1850, 1950, etc... Also the 55 series. Same deal as the 50 series.

I dont think a 1700 was ever made.1750/1755 yes.the 1750 was a 'halfbreed' of was built to use up all the leftover 1800 parts

in all of my research i can find parts for them but can not find a picture.i had a friend who work for our local oliver dealership he said they had the 100's series then the 50's series then the 55's. did my father own a protype?

I really doubt it.None of my tractor literature ever says anything about a 1700,only 1750/1755.Again the 1750 was a mutt....
