OT....random farm pictures

My old digital camera crapped out, so i bought a Nikon Coolpix at Wally World for 89.00. It's a very cloudy day here in PA today but i took a drive around my house. Approx a 2 mile radius, just taking some pics. Hope you enjoy!

This 150 acre farm was sold last year. Asking price was 3,200,000. Not sure what they got for it.

This barn sits about 150 yards behind my home. The township purchased it and was going to make a library and meeting hall until they found out what it was gonna cost em'

I wouldn't be to concerened about if it was big enough, I would be more concerened if it has enough traction. I would hate to see it spin out going down hill. LOL

Hi, sorry I don't mean to start an arguement with you ,buttttttttttt I think that might be some day either a cow or a bull. Just my observation's. cheers, Murray

I'm glad you like the pictures. There are some very pretty farms close by but they are very secluded. I might go out tomorrow if the weather is nice and shoot some more.

Thank you for that,Always like to see what it looks like over the water, good pics.

In pic 4. I just purchased one of those hay rakes,The farmer"s maintenance was not one of his strong points. had a part bearing turning around on the stub axle which put a grove in it and wore away part of the housing. This sort of thing must be obvious to anyone who makes the effort to look at their machinery.

Barn cat? Did you see the size of the barn owl perched up there? Holy cow, that thing could pick up the tractors. I shudder to think.

I was up there several years ago with Gen. Robert E. Lee and the boys. We weren't made to feel all that welcome.

Gee- you'd have thought someone would enjoy being on 'The Dukes of Hazzard' with Daisy Duke. Guess she musta had PMS that day---

wnet to school in the Lehigh valley, and lived in Emmaus ...swear I've seen that barn on the way to Kutztown to play ball. Had a lot of freinds that lived up around Reading. I liked it up there.

WOW on the price of that farm. Mid-Michigan average land is 4500-6000/acre.

Like the pictures.
